Nowadays, comedian in Nepal are more popular than the film actors. Comedians in Nepal are seen mostly in TV serials, featuring in very less movies.  Each day of the week, we can find different comedy programs in TV. The comedy serials in Nepal is seen in Nepal Television, Kantipur, Himalaya TV, Image channel, and sometimes in other channels too. But which program has attracted the fans a lot?

1. Meri Bassai:

Meri bassai is the the favorite comedy serial in Nepal. Sitaram Kattel, Since 2006, this show's has always been successful to make viewers laugh. Sitaram Kattel(माग्ने बुढो) and Kedar Ghimire(धुर्मुश, खड्काजी, मुस्कान पास्सा and other many roles), are writers and directors of this serial.

2.Tito Satya:

This is the oldest comedy serial in our list. Deepak Raj Giri is director and writer of this show and has got has recognition.

3. Bhadragol:

There is no doubt that Bhadragol is now one the most watched and liked TV serial in Nepal. This show was offline for 3 weeks but now again it is back.Writer of this show is Kumar Katelजिग्री and Arjun Ghimireपांडे, and the director is popular Nepali Films' director Shankar Acharya.

4. Harke Haldar:

Harke Haldar is another Nepali drama serial which broadcasts on Kantipur Television. Bishnu Sapkota has double role of Harke(हर्के) and Laure ba(लाउरे बा).

This show is hosted by Sandip Chettri. He has got talent to make voice almost similar to the popular actor, politician and other personalities.
